Top 5: Newcastle United 2011-12 Season Tribute Videos

After such a thrilling season for Newcastle United, the internet has quite rightly been filled to the brim with a number of great video tributes to the 2011-12 season.

To save you from scouring the web to find them, though, I’m going to list the top five videos right here:

5. Top 10 Goals 2011-12 (VivaGoalsProductions)

A top 10 goals of the season video makes it in at number 5, but despite the great editing and video quality, it loses points as it misses out Papiss Cisse’s second goal against Chelsea, as it was made in late April. Still a worthwhile watch, though.

4. Hatem Ben Arfa – Skills + Goals (lathamnufcHD)

As one of the most exciting players in the entire league, it’s only right that a video of Hatem Ben Arfa’s great season makes it onto this list. It’s a near-perfect compilation of every astonishing goal and tantalizing run the winger made all season, and I don’t need to tell you how good they are to watch.

3. Newcastle United Season Review 2011-12 (Welzyyy)

This season review comes in two parts, one of which was produced midway through the season. In almost nine minutes, the two videos do a great job of helping you relive the entire season.

2. Papiss Cisse Sensational Striker (AC1881TV)

Number two is a highlight reel made up exclusively of Papiss Cisse’s goals from the 2011-12 campaign, including some of the best goals he scored previously at Freiburg. The high definition visuals and the dramatic background ┬ámusic are a nice touch as well.

1. The Fall and Rise of Newcastle United (JonnyHall2K)

Finally, we have “The Fall and Rise of Newcastle United”, which is a must-watch for any Newcastle fan. The video takes a look at Newcastle’s drop from Champions League football to relegation, and focuses on their journey back where they belong. Prepare yourself for goosebumps.
