Newcastle United Drawn Against Atromitos FC

The draw for the fourth and final qualifying round of the Europa League has been made, with Newcastle United drawn against Atromitos.

Alan Pardew’s side will travel to Greece for the first leg before playing at the Sports Direct Arena the following week.

The Athens-based outfit finished fourth in the Greek Super League last season. The dates of both legs are to be confirmed but they’re expected to take place on Thursday 23rd August and Thursday 30th August.

Their notable players include former Liverpool goalkeeper, Charles Itandje, and Njazi Kuqi, the brother of former Newcastle United striker Shefki Kuqi.

United were among 31 seeded sides for the draw in Nyon, Switzerland. In total, there are 62 teams in this round of the competition.
