Newcastle Heading to South Africa This Summer

Ajax Cape Town
Both Newcastle and Everton are set to join the Urban Warriors in a pre-season tournament in July, similar in structure to the now redundant Vodacom Challenge. The dates are as follows:
Newcastle United vs Ajax Cape Town (July 20)
Newcastle vs Everton (July 24)
Everton vs Ajax Cape Town (July 27)
It is so-far unconfirmed as to the smaller details, but the tournament could be taking at Newlands Stadium, a 51,900 capacity venue, and one of the two “home” stadiums of Ajax Cape Town.
We had previously speculated that Newcastle could be heading back to the States, after a reasonably successful tour there two years ago. Whether this is now out of the question remains to be seen, but it’s unlikely that we’ll be making two foreign excursions in one Summer.
It looks as though South Africa is the destination of choice for Premier League clubs this Summer, with Liverpool, Manchester City and Fulham also heading there.
What do you think about this? Do you reckon this will be a beneficial experience or wuld you have rather seen the club heading somewhere else like Asia or the States, for example?
