Newcastle United head of Academy recruitment Steve Nickson has watched the player a number of times and Newcastle are said to be keen.
Coman is contracted at PSG until 2016, however, it is understood that the France Under-19 international is interested in a move. Whether he chooses to continue his development in the French capital or to join Newcastle in realistic shout of first team opportunities.
Coman has made three first team appearances for PSG coming on each time as a substitute, and has played in the reserve and youth sides.
