VIDEO – Watch Sammy Ameobi’s Stunning Equaliser

Sammy Ameobi  of Newcastle United scores his side's first goal to equalise against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday Sammy Ameobi scored his first Premier League goal today in Newcastle's excellent comeback win against Spurs. Having been substituted on at half time, it only took 7 seconds for the 22 year-old to get on the scoresheet.


It was Geordie lad and recent England call-up, Jack Colback, who picked out the oncoming Ameobi on the left wing, who after taking the ball within his long stride, slotted home past a hapless Lloris.

For Spurs Eric Dier was badly at fault – he was caught unawares by the 6ft 4in midfielder, and allowed him far too much time in the box before slotting home.

It was the first away win of the season for the Magpies and our second win in a row – so things are starting to look up for Newcastle.
