Betting Tips: West Ham vs. Newcastle United

betting guide

This weekend Newcastle travel to West Ham in what looks set to be an exciting game. Both teams have got decent solid defences at the moment so I could see this one ending low scoring.

Under 2.5 goals (20/23 – boylesports)

West Ham have only conceded two goals in their last two home games (against Man City and Liverpool) which is testament to how they’ve improved defensively. If not more impressively, Newcastle have now kept 4 back-to-back clean sheets! It seems unlikely that this will be a thriller so back unders at a decent price.

Jack Colback to be booked (11/4 – 888sport)

I’ve backed Colback to be booked a lot this season. He looks fiery and is vulnerable to lash out if there’s a counter attack. West Ham have some pacey runners, most notably the in-form Stewart Downing. I think 11/4 is a huge price given that he’s as short as 6/4 elsewhere.
