Pardew wins Manager of the month for November

Alan Pardew has been named as the Barclays Premier League Manager of the Month for November!

Newcastle won three of their four top flight fixtures last month, seeing off Liverpool, West Brom and QPR, keeping clean sheets in all of those games as they reached the upper echelons of the Premier League.

This is his second ‘manager of the month’ award as Newcastle United manager (and third of his career).

This is what he said of the award this morning:

“It is a huge honour to be named Barclays Premier League Manager of the Month.”

“Our recent form has been a real team effort both on and off the pitch. The players have been fantastic during the time and huge credit must also go to my staff, who work tirelessly behind the scenes.”

The gaffer dedicated the award to his young players.

Well done, Alan! Thoroughly deserved.
